Alumni Grant Schoenlein and Kyle O’Malley Launch Kamiak Coffee Company in Moscow

Coffee lovers and “constant connoisseurs” unable to find a better cup, Grant Schoenlein and Kyle O’Malley decided to roast their own beans. From that decision, they became business partners in the world of specialty coffee roasting.

Scholarships Support McKayla Lewis’s Dream of Owning Boutique Hotel with Event Center

Hospitality student McKayla Lewis chose WSU to achieve her dream of owning her own establishment in the hotel industry. Several hospitality and Carson College scholarships gave her the opportunity to study abroad in the faculty-led food and wine and culture program in Italy and France.
