Why I give

The Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture is launching an ambitious campaign to support the next generation of engineering and design students. The new Schweitzer Engineering Hall will provide critical services for student success in one central location on the Pullman campus. Construction is slated to begin in 2024 and is the first step in the college’s effort to revamp the engineering district to better meet students’ needs.

Scott Cassels (construction management and business, ‘81) discusses why he supports the student success campaign and how WSU changes lives:

“As you get older and come to the end of your career, you start reflecting on what got you there. At school, the experience and knowledge that’s dumped in your head for four years gave you a starting step for your career. At a certain time, you have to pay back for the things that they gave to you. This school gave me lots of great memories and a great education. I still have lifelong friends that I went to school with, so it’s my turn.”
