Attention Graduates! Are you planning to participate in the Pullman Commencement ceremony in May? Get everything you need at the WSU Grad Fair, the one-stop shop that will save you time and energy (and maybe some money, too).
We’ll be waiting to help you. Sincerely, Your Soon-to-be Alma Mater Study Guide Application for Graduation: Filing of forms and payment to officially complete your studies. You may have already done this, but double-check at the Grad Fair. Graduation: The official completion of your degree. You’ll receive your diploma via regular mail, so make sure your permanent address on file is correct. Commencement: A public ceremony celebrating your graduation. There’s lots of pomp and circumstance, cheering, and hand-shaking. Plus you get to dress up. Exit Surveys: Review your student account/student loan. International Students: What are your plans after graduation? Please make sure to share your plans with International Programs by filling out the International Departure Notification Form. Register to Walk: How we plan for the ceremony. Tell us that you’ll be there and we’ll make sure you have a seat. Regalia: The traditional cap and gown of a college graduate worn at commencement. Style depends on the degree earned. Basically, the more time you’ve been in school, the bigger your sleeves. Cap and Gown Rental: Pick up the regalia you need to walk and save money at the same time. After you pick it up at the Grad Fair you can practice walking with the funky cap and tassel (which you get to keep!). Rental costs are as follows: Bachelor’s $47.94, Master’s $74.92, and Doctoral $97.00. Diploma Frame: An elegant way to display your hard-earned diploma. Announcements: Personalized, high quality, hard copy note cards you snail-mail to friends and family to, well, announce your achievement. Embossed with Cougar colors and/or images. Class Ring: Traditional ring worn by graduates, unique to each university; can be engraved for personalization. Special pricing at 40% off. Senior Class Gift: Collective contribution to provide a gift to the University that commemorates the entire graduating class. Alumni Association: The best way to stay connected with other Cougars and get a boatload of benefits. A year’s membership automatically with every cap and gown rental and a free license plate holder during the Grad Fair only. Go Cougs: Two words that will warm your heart for years to come. |
